WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK
................................................................

In case you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll no doubt know that our annual fundraising Trivia Night is on this Friday. There just so happens to be no screenings on that night either, so you have really no excuses not to attend. Don’t miss out!

• Thu 27 Aug @ 7:30 PM: MR. HOLMES

Grappling with the diminishing powers of his mind, an aging Sherlock Holmes (Ian McKellen) finds himself haunted by the mysterious case that forced him into retirement, and that has remained unsolved for 50 years.

• Fri 28 Aug @ 7:30 PM: ANNUAL TRIVIA NIGHT

No screening. (See, we told you so!)

• Sat 29 Aug @ **7 PM**: LOVE AT FIRST FIGHT + THE BLUE ROOM

Straight from this year’s French Film Festival comes a double feature of two films about love in its many forms, proudly presented by the Embassy of France!

In the poignant romantic comedy LOVE AT FIRST FIGHT, a mild-mannered man’s peaceful summer holiday is disrupted when he meets – and falls in love with – a beautiful but brusque woman who couldn’t be more different from him.

Then, in erotic thriller THE BLUE ROOM (at approx. 8:45 PM), a married man finds himself under investigation by the police after an adulterous tryst with a woman, accused of an unknown crime that he has no recollection of.
