LAST CHANCE FOR TIX: TRIVIA NIGHT NEXT FRIDAY!
................................................................

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to get your tickets for our upcoming Trivia Night at any of our upcoming screenings or online!

We will need to confirm numbers with the venue by early next week, so there are only a few days left for you to secure your spot at Canberra’s – or, dare we say it, the world’s – greatest Film Group trivia night.

No team? No problem. We can fit you in with an existing team or smaller groups. Full tables of 10 are also entirely welcome and still available for purchase.

Find out more at www.anufg.org.au/trivia or email us at info@anufg.org.au to secure your tickets now!

WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK
................................................................

An acclaimed animated fantasy, Korean zombies, Mel Gibson, neo-Nazis skinheads, and our second improvised live cinema event all await you at the ANU Film Group this week!

• Thu 6 Oct @ 7:30 PM: TRAIN TO BUSAN

A father and his estranged daughter board a high-speed train from Seoul to Busan but what begins as an innocent journey soon becomes a fight for survival when the train becomes overrun by zombies during the course of the journey.

• Fri 7 Oct @ 7:30 PM: BLOOD FATHER + GREEN ROOM

In BLOOD FATHER, Mel Gibson plays an ex-con living the clean life until his wayward teenage daughter contacts him out of the blue and he finds himself forced to protect her from drug dealers out to kill her.

Then, in GREEN ROOM (at approx. 9 PM), when the members of a punk rock band accidentally witness a murder, they find themselves at the mercy of a group of maniacal neo-Nazi skinheads in a vicious fight for survival.

• Sat 8 Oct @ **5 PM**: KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS

Young Kubo’s quiet life in a Japanese village is turned upside down when a spirit from the past reignites an age-old vendetta. Soon, he is being chased by gods and monsters, and must locate a magical suit of armour once worn by his late Samurai father to survive.

• Sat 8 Oct @ **7 PM**: UNSCRIPTED! 2

What do you get when you combine the talents of Canberra's top improvisors with a ridiculously campy film – with all new dialogue created live and on the spot? The answer is UNSCRIPTED!

Our unique improvised live cinema event returns this Saturday for a second edition. Last year, the crew from Back Seat Cinema significantly improved upon the 1959 sci-fi disaster TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE. What cinematic gem do you think will be in store this time around?

There’s only one way to find out…

Presented by Back Seat Cinema, featuring the vocal talents of Ben Crowley, Brad Hoff and Katherine Green.
