In ONLY GOD FORGIVES, a drug-smuggler (Ryan Gosling) thriving in Bangkok’s criminal underworld is tasked by his scheming mother (Kristen Scott Thomas) to hunt down those responsible for his brother’s recent death.

Then, in SPRING BREAKERS (at approx. 9:45 PM), four teenagers land in jail after committing a robbery to fund a vacation, but find themselves bailed out by a drug dealer (James Franco) who wants them to do some dirty work.

• Sat 5 Oct @ **7 PM**: WORLD WAR Z followed by LORE

In WORLD WAR Z, Brad Pitt stars as an ex-United Nations investigator, who must traverse the world in a race against time to stop a zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself.

Then, in LORE (at approx. 9 PM) five destitute siblings embark on a 900-kilometre journey across Germany to their grandmother’s house after their Nazi parents disappear in the face of arrest following the end of WWII.

Following on from the success of their first edition of Vintage Electric screenings, Palace Electric are back with another season of classic and cult films screening every Sunday at 3 PM. The new season begins this week and runs until the end of February, with tickets costing $8 for Palace Movie Club members and $10 for everyone else.

Vintage Electric Edition Two kicks off this Sunday with the Coen Brothers’ classic THE BIG LEBOWSKI, with other films for the month of October including the Marilyn Monroe comedy GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, David Lynch’s dark thriller BLUE VELVET and quirky coming-of-age tale HAROLD AND MAUDE.

And thanks to our friends at Palace Electric, we’ve got tickets to give away to the season’s opening screening of THE BIG LEBOWSKI, screening this Sunday (October 6) at 3 PM!
