Detective Travis Hurley (Simon Baker) arrives in a remote Outback mining town to review the unsolved case of a young Indigenous woman who went missing 20 years earlier. Jaded and addicted to heroin from his time on the drug squad, Hurley has no misconceptions about his assignment: his superiors just want him out of the way. But as he begins making progress, uncovering truths and connecting with surviving witnesses, he begins to see a glimmer of redemption for himself.

A visually striking, atmospheric Outback neo-noir, Limbo is the latest from one-man-band filmmaker Ivan Sen (Mystery Road, Goldstone), who handled cinematography, music and editing in addition to writing and directing.
