If you are a fan of films like Road Trip and American Pie, you'll love this film. It revolves around a guy named Van Wilder (funnily enough), a college student beginning his seventh year. His dad stops paying his tuition and so Van Wilder raises money with topless tutoring, naked mile runs and as a party director. Van Wilder follows the National Lampoon tradition of a college flick where everybody guzzles beer and has sex. What really makes this film shine is Reynolds' performance. But I might be biased, since I liked him in 'Two Guys and a Girl (...and a Pizza Place)'. While some jokes fall flat, others will bring tears to your eyes and a stitch to your stomach.
