This film is written and directed by David Lynch. Lynch created 'Twin Peaks', Lost Highway and Blue Velvet. That should be all you need to know.
If you want a plot summary (and don't say I didn't warn you)... We're in L.A. in some indeterminate year, and a young girl desperate to be a star, an amnesiac, a maritally-and-mob-challenged film director, a mildly dictatorial dwarf, a cowboy who appears to be all-powerful and a strange chuckling homeless figure all feature in a film noir of disturbing proportions. See, that didn't help much, did it? It's a bring-your-own-explanation party, and everyone's invited. This isn't for everyone, but it's a rewarding and fascinating film for anybody who's prepared to put the effort in.
