Here's a parody of the original Star Wars, in the form of a trailer offering sneak previews of an upcoming blockbuster, with characters like Fluke Starbucker and Ham Salad. From the bunch who did Pork Lips Now, only they did it earlier.

This is a much better movie than The Phantom Menace. In a victory for good taste, Jar Jar Binks only gets about three minutes of screen time. For those who care about plot in a film like this, the Republic raises a clone army, Anikan Skywalker (Christensen) goes hormonal and lots of things blow up.
If you've come to see the love scenes between Anikan and Padm((eacute)) (Portman), you are going to be disappointed. Wooden puppets deliver lines that sound like they came from Hallmark greeting cards. However, the plot and the love scenes are really secondary. They are just an excuse for the action scenes, and if you've come for the action, there is plenty to be impressed by. Car chases, lightsabre fights and gun battles abound, all backed up by great visual effects. For fans of the series, there is also the added incentive of seeing Yoda ditch his crutch and go into battle with a lightsabre for the first time. Episode 2 mercifully puts Episode 1 behind it. It is more like what Star Wars should be: fewer annoying characters, no bad attempts to explain the Force, and more of those oh-so-cool lightsabre fights.
