Ramu Gupta, a movie-loving Indian dancer (who really wants to be John Travolta in Grease) heads to America to seek his fortune. He ends up impersonating a spiritual Sex Guru. Soon becoming an overnight sensation, he risks betraying Sharonna, an X-rated film starlet and the source of all his sexual wisdom. Heather Graham plays the porno-star-with-a-heart-of-gold, herself leading a double life, and she is pretty good with the material she's been given. The Bollywood-style dance sequence is a highlight (though strangely still out of place) and the porn-film-making scenes offer the best of the film's comic moments, but altogether it just lacks that certain spark to make it all work.
