A routine rescue mission during World War 2 for the submarine USS Tiger Shark goes awry after the ship's captain is swept overboard. Three people adrift in a life raft are rescued, but the Tiger Shark's crew all agree that they bring bad luck to the ship, particularly one, a woman!
