Alejandro de la Vega always promised his wife that hed quit the swashbuckling game, hang up the black mask and get on with raising their son, Joaquin. But when a combination of brutal landowners and a sinister secret society starts taking land by force from peasants, Zorro returns, waving sword, cape and mask in various heroic acts of derring-do.
For anyone who likes a decent chunk of buckling with their swash, this should satisfy your needs. Banderas and Zeta-Jones get a chance to show off the same chemistry they had in the last film, and there's some big, whomping action scenes in the finale, including a stunt with Zorro's horse that violates the laws of equine muscular dynamics nicely.
