Little Fish is set in Cabramatta in Sydney. The story focuses on Tracy Heart (Blanchett) an ex-heroin addict who lives with her mother, Janelle (Hazlehurst). Tracy works in a video store of which she plans to become part owner. Then Tracys life plans are turned upside down when her ex-boyfriend unexpectedly returns and when she decides to help family friend, Lionel (Weaving), an ex-footy star, now heroin addict, one last time. With such an amazing line up of actors you just know that you won't be disappointed. However this film does deal with some very confronting issues.
