Been living under a rock for a while? No? Then youll no doubt have heard something about The Da Vinci Code. The good news is that the book by Dan Brown is much loved by many people, topping best seller lists for months on end. The bad news is that this movie has received some poor reviews. Nevertheless, I think it's a must see for the semester and I'll definitely be attending! For those of you who are unaware of the plot, the story starts when a murder occurs inside the Louvre. Symbolic clues in paintings by Da Vinci lead to clues to understanding the murder and even religious history. Prof. Langdon (Hanks) is called to interpret these symbols and ends up getting involved in a lot of drama himself! Ignore the negative press. It really is one not to miss this semester.
