Its been 10 years since we last caught up with the Clerks, New Jersey's finest slackers Dante and Randal, and little has changed. The Quick Stop corner store where they worked burnt down after Randal left the coffee pot on (again) and they are now working at Mooby's, a cow themed fast food restaurant (although this is little more than an excuse to expand the cast a little). They still spend all day talking trash while disregarding their customers and doing the bare minimum to avoid getting fired. Jay and Silent Bob are even fresh from rehab and hanging out in front of the place. Change is about to come, however, as Dante is about to move to Florida with his girlfriend and start a new life. Alas, Randal and the rest of the Mooby's crew, Becky (Dawson) and Elias (Trevor Fehrman), are not as well equipped to deal with Dante's departure as they had thought.Clerks II pretty much picks up right where the original left off, both in terms of story and formula. Sure, Dante and Randal are 30-something slackers rather than 20-something slackers, but their hilarious takes on topics other movies wouldn't go near are as funny as ever. This time round we get their take on the Lord of the Rings vs Star Wars fanboy debate, inter-species romance (with a disturbingly funny show to boot), Internet blogs, racial slurs, and whether it's OK to go arse to mouth. There's something here to offend everyone, as well as some of the biggest laughs you'll have all year.'
