As any fan of a superhero movie trilogy knows, the first movie introduces the characters and their story, while the second movie provides the real action - more deadly supervillains, more hurdles for our hero. The third movie has to amp it up even more with new and interesting villains and possibly a love story or personal challenge for the main character. Spider-Man 3 looks sure not to disappoint. Although at the time of writing this movie had not been released, all the elements are there. Not one but three villains (including Spider-Mans former friend Harry Osborne) try to best Spider-Man, and his personal life has its own challenges, with a love triangle between Mary-Jane (Dunst, reprising her previous Spider-Man role), new character Gwen Stacy and Spider-Man's alter-ego, Peter Parker. We will also see a darker side of Spider-Man's character. Some favourites from the original movies return but it's the new characters who will really have everyone talking - in particular, the ever-popular half-human villain Venom (Grace). Spider-Man 3 is sure to have enough elements from the comic series to please the most die-hard fan, while having enough action to appeal even to those who have never picked up a comic. '

Georges Meli((eacute))s was a stage magician before founding the worlds first film studio, and he never really changed careers: he made films in order to make illusions; trick photography was the only kind he was interested in. This early sci-fi/fantasy short is his flashiest and most famous work; you're bound to have seen the image of the rocket striking the moon, even if you can't quite recall where.'

Irena Dubrovna (Simon), a Serbian fashion artist living in New York City, meets Oliver Reed (Smith) at a zoo and they immediately fall in love and get married in short order. Unfortunately Irena believes that she descends from a line of "cat people" in her native Serbia whose women turn into panthers when aroused or angered, and is unable to consummate the marriage.

Without the marriage he was expecting, Oliver eventually sends Irena to a psychiatrist and over time falls in love with Alice Moore (Randolph), a woman he works with. When Irena learns of Olivers relationship with Alice, Alice starts being stalked at night by an unseen predator.

This classic horror movie is a lot more subtle than your modern horror flick, but that doesn't stop it being enjoyable today even if just for the B-grade '40s goodness.'
