For four men working through their mid-life crises, heading out on the open road seems like a great way to re-enact their wilder youthful antics. The trip turns nasty when they fall afoul of the Del Fuegos, a nasty biker gang with a taste for revenge. Can four suburbanites stand up against 50 angry bikers? Well, of course they can - what sort of wish-fulfilment fantasy would this be if they couldnt? This kind of inoffensive romp seems to find a lot of reviewers exercising their talent for developing new terms of abuse (my personal favourite epithet was "mind-sodomising"). As harmless entertainment goes, though, this is indeed rather harmless and kinda fun. William H. Macy is always worth watching in pretty much everything, and there's a fair share of giggles and charm amongst the life-lessons. If you're looking for something that requires your brain to be switched on, I'm sure there's something just over the page that'll suit - but for a warm comfortable pair of slippers of a movie, this should fit the bill just fine.'
