I havent seen this film because it has not, at the time of writing, been released. Not because I haven't wanted to. I have wanted to very, very much. I have wanted to so much that I have watched all the trailers for it on the IMDb - even the one in Japanese, which made it sound like a dodgy game show. In fact, if there were a version of it that was a dodgy game show, I would have watched that too by now if I could, but that's just me. The trailers, by the way, look marvellous. Clearly David Yates has taken the trouble to evoke the atmosphere of urgency and danger so strongly present in the book. For those who don't know the plot (you obviously haven't read the book; why not?), it's Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts and things are looking very grim indeed. Not only is Voldemort back - noseless as ever - but the Ministry of Magic refuses to acknowledge it, so much so that its official is placed at Hogwarts to enforce the party line. As she takes over the school by decrees (heh), Harry must find a way to make the truth known. In the process he finds love (sort of), suffers a tragic loss, and discovers the shocking secret about his past and his future. I plan to see this film several times, bordering on many. That is my choice. No one can stop me. No one. No one at all.'
