Based on Harlan Coben's international bestseller, Tell No One is a complex and gripping thriller by director Guillaume Canet.
Eight years in the past: Dr Alexandre Beck (Cluzet) and his wife Margot (Croze) are unwinding together by a lake. Their enjoyment is short-lived: they're attacked by a killer, who turns out to be of the serial type favoured by film-makers and novelists ((ndash)) Margot is left dead and Alexandre in a coma.
Skip to the present: Alexandre has reconstructed his life somewhat, and is devoting his energy to his podiatry, yet is still haunted by the brutal murder of his wife. It transpires that the killer has confessed to eight murders but obstinately denied responsibility for Margot's death ((ndash)) leaving a disquieting question mark over the incident.
When two bodies are discovered at the same lake where Margot was found, the case is reopened and Alex is thrust back into frame ((ndash)) as a suspect. To intensify the intrigue, Alex receives an anonymous email with a link to a real-time surveillance web-cam ((ndash)) showing an older and animate Margot! Has she been alive all these years? And why does the email warn: 'Tell No One'?
