Street Kings is a thrill ride, full of effects and off-the-wall gun fights. Because of this, seeing it on the big screen is definitely a must.

Tom Ludlow (Reeves), a veteran LAPD Detective, works in a Special Vice Squad Unit in Los Angeles. Ludlow has been suffering from depression since the death of his wife, and on top of this his former partner is murdered by gang members. So Ludlow goes on a wild and reckless quest through the mean streets of LA to track down his partner's killers and get justice. Captain Jack Wander (Whitaker) is Ludlow's supervisor who must keep him from going over the edge and out of the sights of Internal Affairs Captain James Biggs (Laurie).

The movie races at such a fast pace, and it is so intense at times that you don't know who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. If you enjoy cop dramas, you will really enjoy this film, because it has so many twists and, turns and back stabbing that you will have no trouble maintaining your interest and even wanting more.

Do not miss this gritty story of a rogue cop who is pushed past his limits by corruption, greed and violence. The acting in this film is top-notch, the action is great, and watching Reeves in cop-mode certainly wasn't a chore!

Deception is a thriller with intriguing but highly fantastic elements. McGregor stars as Jonathan McQuarry, a dull and bespectacled accountant whose friendship with charismatic Wyatt Bose (Jackman) leads him to an illicit sex club called The List and a dangerous game of sex and blackmail using a beautiful woman as bait.

Deception has all of the elements of a good thriller. It's very sexy, there are periods of high excitement, and lots of twists and turns to keep you wondering who is manipulating whom and how will itit will all unravel in the end. The only problem is that by including all of the requirements of being a "thriller" the end product does lack originality so. iIf you watch a lot of these types of movies some plot elements may seem familiar to you as parts of the plot are clich((eacute))d and don't always make sense, . bBut hey, this is the movies and if, like me, you aren't that good at picking the plot twists, you will still definitely get your fill of suspense.

I recommend coming along to this movie, you'll most certainly be entertained as long as you don't bring along sky high expectations. If you're a fan of McGregor and/or Jackman, then this film is a must-see. If you're not a fan of either of them... what's wrong with you?!?
