The Devil's Rejects, written and directed by Rob Zombie, is the sequel to Zombie's 2003 horror, House of 1000 Corpses. While the first movie focused more on a band of teenage road-trippers who are kidnapped and tortured by the sadistic Firefly family, the sequel is set months later and revolves around some of the family members who evade capture from the police and go off to involve themselves in all sorts of immoral, nasty and illegal deeds that would certainly put you on the naughty list come Christmas time. In all honesty, the first movie was pretty bad, and mostly seemed to just throw a lot of exploitation-shock scenes at the viewer, and; no doubt this sequel will be the same. But, House of 1000 Corpses was mindlessly fun, especially if you enjoy a mindless horror movie which appears to have no real purpose except to be a hard horror. And considering Zombie's music isn't written for children, we can assume that The Devil's Rejects will follow the same, "crap but totally awesomely crap," tone and be a movie you'd love to hate watching. So, throw aside your pride and self-respect and enjoy a movie that probably shouldn't be enjoyed. Brought to you by the guy who did a bunch of music, the Halloween remake, and even one of the "fake" trailers from Grindhouse, The Devil's Rejects is sure to be terribly awesome. And with a tagline of, "Hell doesn't want them. Hell doesn't need them. Hell doesn't love them. This world rejects them," .", how can you seriously pass on such a night?
