Brian is a divorced American ex-spy living in Los Angeles who earns his living protecting pop stars on the side (so that's where Holly Valance went!). As a result of his life as a spy, Brian has become over protective of his 17-year-old daughter, who, against his better judgment, has travelled to Paris with a friend. Unfortunately, when the girls arrive in the city of love, they are kidnapped and sold into forced prostitution. Don'tcha hate it when that happens?! Luckily for her, Brian was on the phone with his daughter at the moment she was taken and he rushes to her rescue.

Taken is not a realistic film - think more like those Steven Seagal movies with the seemingly convoluted killing methods and high body count - but as long as you don't get caught up in the imperfections, you're in for 93 minutes of straight forward high speed action. Neeson kicks butt for practically the entire film, killing almost every Albanian prostitute trafficker in the entire city of Paris (and it seems like there are quite a few!).

Despite some implausibility, this is a well-made film. The actors are world-class and hey, Neeson could make almost anything into compelling viewing. Before you know it the movie is over in a blur of fighting, fear, chasing and excitement. Maybe consider renting out the rest of your seat as you'll be on the edge of it for most of the movie.

Take two sad people, mix it with the spontaneity and silliness of Las Vegas and you'll never know what'll happens!

Joy (Diaz) and Jack (Kutcher) arrive in Vegas nursing their sorrows. Joy is newly single and not so happy about it while Jack was sacked from his job.

On a drunken evening, the two meet and spend an evening partying together while their travelling companions wait around. They felt they clicked and had a wonderful evening together. So wonderful in fact that hung-over Joy wakes the next morning with a wedding ring on her finger and a note to "wifey" on the cabinet.

Their marriage can't be easily ended, as they've won $3 million during their wild time in Vegas! They take it to the court to divide and end their marriage, but are sentenced to six months "hard marriage" before the money will be released. But with the pressure of marital bliss, the two are no longer as happy as they were in Vegas.

A nice, light film with plenty of laughs and silliness. I enjoyed it. If you want a relaxed film that'll entertain you, then I suggest you come see this one. The actors had some fun with their roles and all in all it is fun. Don't go in expecting a life changinglife-changing movie. It is just light heartedlighthearted entertainment...
