As I'm writing this, the film hasn't been released in Australia and as a result, I haven't seen it yet. I do love romantic movies, though, and that's why I'm reviewing this one. It's certainly one I'm keen to see!

It's a drama, rather than a comedy, but apparently there is some dark humour in the film. Estranged daughter Kym (Hathaway) returns to the family home for her sister's wedding. Family dynamics are tested, and tensions resurface, creating a sad and emotional journey for the characters in the film and the viewers.

This film has been highly acclaimed by critics. Some say it's one of the best films of the year. The music is apparently very good, the performances by the actors (particularly Hathaway) brilliant and the film deep and powerful. With all I've heard about this film, I'll definitely be seeing it.

Drama/thriller The International focuses on an Interpol agent. He investigates one of the world's high profile and powerful banking institutions to try and expose them for worldwide arms brokering, corruption and murder. Naomi Watts plays an assistant district attorney who joins forces with the agent to take down the bank.

They uncover illegal activities such as money laundering, arms trading, and the destabilisation of governments. Their investigation takes them from Berlin to Milan to New York to Istanbul. In trying to obtain justice they find themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe which puts their own lives at risk since the bank will stop at nothing to continue financing terror and war. If you like good action thrillers see this!
