Two words will likely decide for you whether Dead Snow is your cup of tea: NAZI ZOMBIES!!!

Half a dozen easy-on-the-eye Scandinavian university students head up to a cabin in the woods snow for a weekend of partying, but stumble upon some hidden Nazi gold which awakens a horde of undead Nazi soldiers who will stop at nothing to retrieve it. As they say, it’s grim up north.

You’ve heard the story before, or something like it, but rarely are these movies as fun as they promise to be. Thankfully Dead Snow is.

Much like the classic Evil Dead movies, Dead Snow revels in genre conventions whilst at the same time lampooning them. The deaths are original, gooey and a lot of fun to watch – especially when the guys and gals find creative ways to polish off zombies with their skidoo.

Best enjoyed with a large, like-minded audience, probably after a couple of ales.
