Bohemian Rhapsody pays homage to one of the greatest bands the world has ever known and the unbridled and electric talent that was Freddie Mercury. The film follows the rise of Queen and charts the production of their iconic songs and revolutionary sound – leading up to Bob Geldof's legendary ‘Live Aid at Wembley Stadium’ benefit concert in 1985.
The talented Rami Malek offers an impeccable portrayal of Mercury’s unconventional and larger-than-life persona, and only just narrowly misses being upstaged by the extraordinary story behind the man himself. Guaranteed to have you tapping your toes – or stomping your feet – this is an event not to be missed.
Nominated for 5 Oscars in 2019, including Best Picture and Best Actor (Rami Malek).
