Everything was awesome – and then it wasn’t. It’s been five years since LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space arrived, adorably destroying everything in their path and leaving Bricksburg a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Most of our heroes, including Lucy (Elizabeth Banks) and Batman (Will Arnett), have grown battle-weary, but not perpetually innocent Emmet (Chris Pratt).
That is, until all of his friends are kidnapped, leaving it up to Emmet to prevent the impending destruction of the LEGO universe. His only ally: the galaxy-defending adventurer, archaeologist, cowboy and raptor trainer known as Rex Dangervest (also Pratt).
Ingeniously self-referential, stunningly animated and with even more catchy earworms, The LEGO Movie 2 is hilarious fun for kids and adults alike.

Stella (Haley Lu Richardson) is a teenager living with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that primarily affects lung function. Her life-threatening condition leaves her spending her days in hospital, which she makes the most of by decorating her room and live streaming her treatment sessions.
Will (Cole Sprouse) is a fellow ‘CF-er’ who has just moved into the same ward. The two have nothing in common beyond their shared ailment, which of course means they eventually fall for each other. But there’s a twist: to avoid potentially fatal cross-infection, they must remain at least six feet apart at all times.
Like The Fault in Our Stars, this heartstring-tugging teen drama’s success relies heavily on the talents of its leads – and Richardson and Sprouse do not disappoint. Bring tissues.
