All through high school Amy (Kaitlyn Dever) and Molly (Beanie Feldstein) focussed on nothing but their studies so that they could get into a good college. And it worked.
The only trouble is that their hard partying peers have also ended up with places at the same colleges. So on the last day of high school they set out to even the score and make up for all that time lost studying and not partying. Crude sexual humour, highly coarse language and serious imbibing of alcohol ensues.
Olivia Wilde’s first stint in the director’s chair for a feature film sees her deliver a delightfully fresh, and genuinely funny, take on the coming-of-age comedy.
Fun fact: Beanie Feldstein is Jonah Hill’s younger sister.

Rose-Lynn Harlan (Jessie Buckley) is a young mother, recently released from prison, who is forced to weigh up her responsibilities as she dreams of stardom as a Country music star. From grassroots beginnings in the music bars of Glasgow, she has her sights set all the way across the Atlantic to the hallowed home of Country music: Nashville, Tennessee.
Jessie Buckley’s vivacious and engaging performance as Rose-Lynn absolutely carries this acclaimed indie British musical drama filled with nuance, empathy and great music. Julie Walters delivers in a meaty supporting role as the family matriarch, while Sophie Okenodo plays Rose-Lynn’s supportive boss.
