Unemployed slacker Sam (Andrew Garfield) occupies his time obsessing over pop culture, studying conspiracy theories, and spying on the neighbours in his L.A. apartment complex. One night, he meets new resident Sarah (Riley Keough) in the complex’s swimming pool and they hit it off immediately. So when Sarah mysteriously vanishes without a trace the next morning, Sam takes it upon himself to find her – embarking on a quest which leads him deep into the scandal-filled, conspiracy-laden depths of the City of Angels.

After 2014’s acclaimed horror film It Follows, writer-director David Robert Mitchell is back with this unsettling and labyrinthine modern noir that clearly draws its influences from the weird and wonderful works of David Lynch and Richard Kelly. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
