Young couple Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian (Jack Reynor) attempt to save their strained relationship by accepting an invitation to join a group of friends on a trip to a remote Swedish village to attend a fabled, once-in-a-lifetime midsummer festival. What begins as a carefree holiday in the land of eternal sunlight soon takes a sinister turn when the villagers invite the group to join them in partaking in increasingly extreme pagan rituals.
