After having spent most of her childhood exploring the jungle with her parents, extroverted adventurer Dora (Isabela Moner) must now face her most dangerous adventure: attending an American high school to improve her social skills. But when her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) disappear while looking for a legendary lost city of gold, Dora must assemble a ragtag group of teens in a race to find the city themselves and locate her parents – before a gang of mercenaries beat them to it.

This live-action version of the hugely popular Nickelodeon cartoon character is a winning family-friendly adventure that retains the youthful spirit of its source material while adding enough Indiana Jones-style thrills and meta humour to appeal to all audiences.

Henry Brogan (Will Smith) is an aging assassin hoping to make his next job his last. Unfortunately, his government handler (Clive Owen) has other plans and dispatches a younger assassin to permanently ‘retire’ his asset. Brogan suddenly finds himself in the fight of his life against this mysterious young operative who can do everything he can do, only better – until he discovers that the younger assassin is in fact a clone of himself.

Gemini Man has languished in development hell for nearly two decades due to the technology required being too undeveloped over the years. But leave it to Ang Lee, who has a proven track record of experimenting with revolutionary new filmmaking technology, to finally bring the film – and a fully digital Will Smith circa his Fresh Prince days – to life.
