Everyone said that Cassie (Carey Mulligan) was a promising young woman... until a mysterious, tragic event from her past abruptly derailed her future.

Now 30-something and still living with her parents, Cassie spends her days working in a coffee shop. By night, however, she uses her wicked smarts and tantalising cunning to live a secret double life: seeking out vengeance against any men who dare cross her path. Before long, an unexpected encounter gives Cassie the perfect chance to right the wrongs of the past.

First-time feature director Emerald Fennell (TV’s Killing Eve) delivers a wildly entertaining new take on revenge: a provocative, darkly comic and very timely thriller that features one of Carey Mulligan’s best performances yet.
