Acclaimed director Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception) puts his spin on the Bond film with this globe-trotting, action-packed spy adventure that also features all of Nolan's hallmarks – including, yes, the manipulation of time.

In the film, a CIA agent (John David Washington) is inducted into a secret, time-bending organisation known only as Tenet, and dispatched on a dangerous mission to stop international arms dealer Andrei Sator (Kenneth Branagh) from starting World War III.

But this is no ordinary mission, and Sator is no ordinary arms dealer, as he seemingly possesses an uncanny knowledge of future events. In order to defeat him, our Protagonist must first master the art of time inversion and learn to control the flow of time. How hard can it be?
