On a stormy night during World War II, Captain Maude Garrett (Chloë Grace Moretz) boards a B-17 bomber plane with a top-secret package just as it’s about to take off. The plane’s all-male crew are at first caught off guard by the presence of a woman on military flight, and their suspicions about her identity, her true mission and the plane’s mysterious cargo quickly grow. But as it turns out, they have far more to fear than a female pilot.

Trapped between an oncoming air ambush by the enemy Japanese fleet and an evil that may be lurking within the plane itself, Maude must push herself beyond her limits to save the hapless crew and protect the cargo at all costs.
