Warning: spoilers for A Quiet Place (2018) ahead!

In post-apocalyptic world, most of the Earth’s population have been wiped out by deadly, blind creatures who have hypersensitive hearing. Amidst the desolation, the Abbott family found a way to make do on their remote farm, living off the land and protecting themselves from the creatures in creative ways.

Their (relatively) peaceful existence was disrupted, however, on a fateful night when pregnant mother Evelyn (Emily Blunt) gave birth to the family’s newest member ¬– beginning a chain of events that culminated in the loss of father Lee (John Krasinski), who sacrificed himself so that his children could live.

With the duty to protect their children now solely in her hands, Evelyn finds herself forced to venture back into the outside world for the first time since the apocalypse. As they continue their fight for survival in silence, they soon realise that the creatures aren’t the only threats out there.
