Suze (Virginia Efira) is a hairdresser who has just received the grim news that she’s dying from a disease caused by the aerosol sprays she uses at work. Jean-Baptiste (director Albert Dupontel) is a civil servant who is suicidal after having been pushed out of his job by younger IT professionals. And Serge (Nicolas Marié) is an archivist who now works in the dark basement of the public records office after having been blinded by a police shooting.

Through a series of crazy events, these three misfits are thrown together on a quest to find the child that Suze was forced to give up for adoption nearly 30 years ago, while also reclaiming their place in an uncaring world. What follows is a fast-paced, anarchic mix of Gilliam-esque dystopian nightmare and French farce. A massive box-office hit at home, the film also won seven Césars last year, including Best Picture.
