Idris Elba is back in action hero mode in this tense survival thriller from Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur (Everest, Contraband).

Recently widowed Dr. Nate Daniels (Elba) has returned to South Africa, where he first met his late wife, on a long-planned trip down memory lane with their two teenage daughters. Visiting a game reserve managed by an old friend and fellow wildlife biologist (Sharlto Copley), the family of three are prepared for a journey of healing.

But nothing could have prepared them to be stalked by a ferocious and massive lion, a survivor of blood-thirsty poachers who now sees all humans as the enemy. As they quickly find themselves becoming prey, the family must fight for their very lives and prove that the savannah has room for more than one apex predator.
