Danish chefs Maggie (Katrine Greis-Rosenthal) and Carsten (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) have almost everything they want in life: two wonderful children, a gourmet restaurant that they own and run in Copenhagen, and each other. The one thing they still desire – desperately – is a much-coveted Michelin Star for their restaurant. Achieving it has been their dream, on which they’ve gambled everything.

Then one day Carsten receives a letter saying that his wife loves somebody else. But who sent the letter, and why? In their continuous pursuit for the ultimate recognition, they have forgotten that life, love and happiness, like food, are best when shared.

Make sure you eat before this screening, because the dishes on display in this sumptuous film are positively delectable. But food is a side dish to the main course: a beautiful story about the souring dynamic between a loving couple whose drive for success begins to tear them apart.
