Allison (Florence Pugh) is a young woman with a wonderful fiancé, a blossoming career, and supportive family and friends. But her whole world crumbles in the blink of an eye when she survives a fatal car accident, emerging from recovery with an opioid addiction and unresolved grief. As Allison seeks redemption, she forms an unlikely friendship with the victim's father (Morgan Freeman) – and her would-be father-in-law – who gives her a fighting chance to put her life back together and move forward.

The third film written and directed by Zach Braff (Garden State, Wish I Was Here) is a heart-wrenching exploration of tragedy, trauma and finding hope in unexpected places.
