Recently released from prison, Stéphane (Laure Calamy) is struggling to make ends meet working at a fish cannery. On a whim, she decides to contact her extremely wealthy but estranged biological father, Serge (Jacques Weber), who abandoned her and her mother many years ago. Much to her surprise, he immediately invites her to visit him at his luxurious seaside mansion where she is introduced to the women of the house – all of whom are far less welcoming. As she soon learns, a ruthless fight for the family empire is taking place, with everyone angling for a piece of the old man’s inheritance. But who is the predator, and who is the prey?
