PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE DE CANBERRA IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2024 FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL
Timid Blandine (Olivia Côte) is struggling to find her footing in life again, having been recently divorced by her husband, and now watching helplessly as her only son leaves home. Reconnecting with a former classmate, the extroverted Magalie (Laure Calamy), Blandine decides to allow herself to be spontaneous for a change.
Together, the two reunited friends decide to finally take the trip that they have been dreaming of since they were teenagers: to the picturesque Greek island of Amorgos. But as they head off towards their destination, it soon becomes apparent that Magalie’s very different approach to holidaying – and to life – could lead Blandine to her breaking point.
A breezy and crowd-pleasing French comedy, this delightful tale of female camaraderie is bound to make you contemplate a scenic Greek holiday of your own.
