Thirty years ago, an indie writer-director by the name of Quentin Tarantino left an indelible mark on the world of film when he unleashed his second film, Pulp Fiction, into the world. The darkly comedic crime caper told four intertwined tales of violence and redemption and featured a host of unforgettable moments, instantly-quotable dialogue and iconic characters, including a pair of philosophical hitmen (John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson), a washed-up boxer (Bruce Willis), a gangster (Ving Rhames) and his drug-addicted wife (Uma Thurman).
With its non-linear plot, Pulp Fiction redefined storytelling in cinema, with Tarantino’s influence still reverberating in films being made today. So make sure you keep your gold watch safe and BYO Royale with Cheese as we say ‘what’ again and celebrate the 30th anniversary of this cinematic masterpiece!
