From Hilde, With Love is a poignant drama based on the remarkable true story of Hilde Coppi, a young German woman caught in the anti-Nazi resistance during World War II.

Set in Berlin in 1942, Hilde (Liv Lisa Fries), heavily pregnant and detained by the Gestapo, faces accusations of aiding her lover, Hans (Johannes Hegemann), in transcribing secret Soviet communications. As she awaits sentencing, Hilde reflects on her love for Hans and her role in the resistance group, Die Rote Kapelle (“The Red Orchestra”). Despite harsh conditions, her quiet courage and compassion shine through.

With an inspirational performance from Fries, this film explores the human side of wartime bravery, evoking themes of resilience and love without showing a single battle.
