In South Los Angeles, roommates and lifelong best friends Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) find themselves racing to avoid eviction after Alyssa’s deadbeat boyfriend blows their rent money. Over the course of one frantic day, they must track down the cash, get Dreux to a make-or-break job interview, and dodge their no-nonsense landlord. As the clock ticks, the duo faces a gauntlet of mishaps, oddball neighbours, and surprise betrayals – all of which test their friendship like never before.
