M3GAN is back! Two years after the traumatising events of the original, M3GAN’s creator Gemma (Allison Williams) has now become an AI oversight advocate, determined to put her past behind her. But when a controversial defence contractor steals her technology and creates a military-grade weapon known as AMELIA, Gemma is forced to revive and upgrade M3GAN, making her faster, stronger, and even more lethal.

Director Gerard Johnstone returns for this sequel to his 2022 viral phenomenon which follows in the footsteps of another killer robot-led series by moving away from the original’s horror trappings and taking a more action-oriented approach. And much like Arnie’s T-800 in T2, M3GAN 2.0 becomes this film’s reluctant hero as she faces off against a new, deadlier android to thrilling and wildly entertaining results.
