Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell) is a blue-collar worker with a secret: he is the disowned son of a billionaire heiress. When his mother passes away, Becket discovers he is ninth in line for a staggering $28 billion fortune. Realising the inheritance will never make it to him in his lifetime, he decides to take matters into his own hands by systematically eliminating the eccentric relatives standing in his way. Adopting various disguises and elaborate methods, Becket gradually climbs the family tree – but not before a group of suspicious relatives begin to fight back again his lethal scheme.

A sharp, stylish and darkly comedic revenge thriller, How to Make a Killing is a modern, satirical reimagining of the 1949 British classic Kind Hearts and Coronets, which famously starred Alec Guiness in eight different roles. Although Powell only plays one role here, the film more than compensates with a stellar supporting cast including Margaret Qualley, Topher Grace and Ed Harris.
