In the year 2075, young Iris (voiced by Roma Fay) witnesses a mysterious boy in a shimmering rainbow suit falling from the sky. This visitor is Arco (Juliano Krue Valdi), a time-traveller from an idyllic future who has accidentally become stranded in the past. Together, they embark on a whimsical adventure to find the resources Arco needs to return to his own time. Along the way, Iris discovers that Arco's presence might just be the key to preventing the ecological decay that threatens her very existence.
This vibrant French animated feature was directed by Ugo Bienvenu in his film debut, and features an English-language voice cast including Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell and Mark Ruffalo. With a distinctive visual style drawing inspiration from 1970s science fiction art, Arco has been celebrated for its sophisticated, visually arresting fable about the power of hope and collective action.
