Mabel Tanaka (Piper Curda), a fiercely determined animal lover, finds a unique way to bridge the gap between humans and the natural world. She surreptitiously hijacks experimental technology to transfer her consciousness into a high-tech robotic beaver, allowing her to communicate directly with animals in the wild. As she navigates the complexities of her new mechanical form, Mabel uncovers a hidden world of animal intelligence and must use her dual perspective to protect her forest friends from an impending environmental threat.

Directed by Daniel Chong, the creator of We Bare Bears, this imaginative Pixar feature proves that the studio isn't all about sequels and still has some original ideas left. With an impressive voice cast including Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, and Meryl Streep, Hoppers has been praised its ability to blend high-concept science fiction with a heartfelt environmental message, with the end result a colourful adventure for audiences of all ages.

Minutes after her narrow escape from the Le Domas estate, bloodied bride Grace (Samara Weaving) is thrust back into another lethal game of hide-and-seek. While recovering in hospital, she is targeted by a secretive council representing the world's six most powerful families. Handcuffed to her estranged sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), Grace must now navigate a sprawling golf course while being hunted by wealthy sociopaths as part of a new ritual. The sisters must put aside their differences and use every weapon at their disposal to survive the night and dismantle the corrupt order once and for all.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillette, the filmmaking collective known as Radio Silence, returns to direct this high-octane sequel, which features a fun new cast including Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood. Critics have lauded scream queen Samara Weaving’s return to her iconic role, while praising the film's blend of visceral gore, dark humour, and sharp social commentary.
