Thank you to everyone who came along last night for our very special 50th birthday party and screening. We hope you enjoyed the celebration as much as we did!
But the fun's not over yet, as tonight is OSCAR NIGHT at the ANU Film Group! Will Leo finally get his Oscar? How many awards will MAD MAX: FURY ROAD win? Who will take home Best Picture? What will John Travolta do this time?!
Catch Hollywood's biggest night on the BIG screen at our special presentation of the 88th Annual Academy Awards TONIGHT at 7:30 PM. Entry is FREE and open to everyone – and the more the merrier – so feel free to bring your friends!
Our wonderful canteen will also be open on the night for you to get your fill of snacks and drinks during the ceremony. As always, all proceeds go to charity.
And be sure to participate in our special Oscar Ceremony Quiz tonight too – a quiz all about this year’s ceremony, with the answers revealed only during the ceremony itself. No movie knowledge is required and Film Group glory awaits!
Finally, regardless of who wins or loses, our Semester One programme has 20 of this year’s Oscar nominees. So as far as we're concerned, ANU Film Group members are the REAL winners!
