What's On This Week: INCREDIBLES 2, THE WIFE, RBG event + Win Tickets to MCKELLEN: PLAYING THE PART

We’re back with a whole lot of screenings this week, including the long-awaited return of The Incredibles, and the acclaimed Ruth Bader Ginsburg documentary followed by a special panel discussion. Not to mention some terrific dramas featuring captivating performances from the likes of Glenn Close, Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Ed Harris. See you at the movies!

• WED 19 SEP @ 7:30 PM: RBG (PG, 98 min)

At 84 years of age, US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues fighting for equal rights – a lifetime of work that has led her to become an icon of justice around the world. Followed by a discussion on women in the legal profession with guests Margaret Thornton, Heather Roberts and Prue Bindon.

• THU 20 SEP @ 7:30 PM: DISOBEDIENCE (MA, 114 min)

After the death of her father, a woman returns to the Orthodox Jewish community that exiled her decades earlier for her childhood attraction to a female friend. Now reunited, the two women find themselves reigniting their burning passion. Starring Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams.

• FRI 21 SEP @ 7:30 PM: THE WIFE (M, 100 min) + KODACHROME (M, 105 min)

In THE WIFE, the faithful wife (Glenn Close) of a famous novelist (Jonathan Pryce) finds herself questioning her life choices as they travel to Stockholm where he is slated to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature, unearthing dark and long-held secrets along the way.

Then, in KODACHROME (at approx. 9:15 PM) a man (Jason Sudeikis) is convinced by his estranged photographer father (Ed Harris) to drive across the country to deliver four undeveloped rolls of Kodachrome film to the last lab in the world that can process them, before it closes for good.

• SAT 22 SEP @ **5 PM**: INCREDIBLES 2 (PG, 125 min)

When Elastigirl is called into action to save the day, Mr. Incredible faces his greatest challenge yet: staying home and taking care of their three children and the problems of the household, in this acclaimed and long-awaited sequel to Pixar’s 2004 superhero family film.

• SAT 22 SEP @ **7:15 PM**: THE DARKEST MINDS (M, 104 min)

After a disease kills 98% of children and grants the surviving 2% powerful abilities, the government declares them a threat and locks them in detainment camps. Seeking to reclaim control of their future, a group of teenagers form a resistance group to fight back.

Ian McKellen has played many roles, both on screen and off, and this feature-length documentary sees the legend himself playing the role of storyteller as he takes us on an intimate and intriguing journey throughout his life. He shares personal stories – from his childhood to the present day – as well as a wealth of never-before-seen material, including photo albums, diaries, and behind-the-scenes footage from theatre productions and film sets.

MCKELLEN: PLAYING THE PART is in cinemas from September 27.
