ANU MOON WEEK: JULY 17 – 21
...........................................................
50 years ago, the world took a giant leap when the Apollo 11 mission landed a man on the Moon on July 20, 1969. To celebrate the milestone anniversary of this historic occasion, the ANU and ACT Government will be hosting a five-day programme of events and activities ranging from stargazing to public lectures, tours, exhibitions and space school.
Of course, no celebration of the Moon landing would be complete without films and the ANU Film Group is proud to be co-hosting a number of FREE screenings of space-themed films for all to attend, including FIRST MAN, WALL-E and THE DISH.
For the full listing of free Moon Week film screenings, go to THIS LINK. Entry to these films is free for all to attend (no ANUFG membership required) but registration at the Eventbrite links for each screening is encouraged.
