Semester Two 2014 Programme

30th June, 2014

The moment you’ve all be waiting for is finally here:
our Semester Two 2014 programme is out!

Kicking off on Thursday 24 July with the acclaimed, post-apocalyptic thriller THE ROVER, our new programme comprises a carefully curated selection of 82 of the latest in Hollywood blockbusters, independent and foreign films, as well as a few much loved classics thrown in for good measure.

From GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY to GONE GIRL, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS to TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION and everything else in between, there should (hopefully) be a little something for everyone each week.

View the full line-up in PDF format by clicking HERE (356 Kb).

Also worth keeping an eye out for is our 8th Annual Trivia Night, to be held this year on Friday 29 August. Tickets will go on sale shortly after Semester Two begins, but it’s never too early to mark your calendars and start assembling your teams!

WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK
.................................................................

Last, but certainly not least, here’s your usual reminder about what’s on this week in our action-packed double feature:

• Sat 5 July @ **7 PM**: SABOTAGE + NON-STOP

In our exclusive Canberra premiere screening of SABOTAGE, members of an elite DEA task force find themselves mysteriously being taken down one by one after pulling off the biggest drug bust of their careers. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington and Terence Howard.

Then, in NON-STOP (at approx. 9 PM), Liam Neeson plays an air marshal who is forced to spring into action during a transatlantic flight when he receives a series of messages threatening to kill a passenger on the flight every twenty minutes unless a ransom is paid.
